RACEWAY USA: A MINI GOLF ADVENTURE

Role: Technology and Engineering / Mechanisms Lead

Led / developed the design engineering of all electrical and mechanical systems for interactive mini golf course with Arduino, including but not are limited to sensor triggers, motors, actuators, pneumatic system, fog effects, LED light programming, and audio integration.
Combined mechatronics, creative technology, storytelling, and guest interaction to create a fun and interactive physical themed entertainment experiences.

High Concept: Race in different cities across USA while your friends try to sabotage you!

We broke down a smoke machine from Walmart and connected it to Arduino. It was a fun R&D challenge!

Lights + Sound effect when player hits a JACKPOT (HOLE IN ONE)

Random Sabotage

Taxi shooting out, dice spinning, or the Las Vegas sign light turning on. Controlled pneumatic actuator using solenoid valve and relay!

Los Angeles Roadblock Sabotage

Player presses a button to activate the traffic light. When traffic light hits green, a roadblock pops up to block the player's ball. It's a timing game!
